Whether you are pondering about faith, belief or spirituality; or “church-hunting” – Welcome to St Peter’s Church. We are part of the Anglican diocese of Portsmouth. In our church family, we seek to encourage each other in our knowing and living for Jesus Christ, no matter what our age or preferences in worship style. At St Peter’s, our aim is that everyone will be able to encounter the Living God in a way that is appropriate for them – and within a loving, joyful and very supportive community.
Young People and Children
Our aim is to help young people and children hear the Good News about Jesus and to grow in their Christian discipleship. We want wherever possible, to work with parents to achieve these goals. We are convinced that the Bible is as relevant for children as for adults, so the focus in all our children’s work is learning together what God has said in his Word with the power of the Holy Spirit and what that means for our lives.
