Independent shops abound, giving you the chance to find something that little bit different. But there are also two banks, Barclays and Lloyds; two pharmacies, Boots and Lloyds, as well as two Southern Co-op convenience stores and a Post Office.
There’s been a High Street in Bishop’s Waltham since at least 1332 – so many of the shops and buildings are of historical interest.
When you’ve worked up a hunger from your stroll around the town, try one of the town’s restaurants, delicatessens, hostelries or coffee shops. You’ll find personal service and a warm Hampshire welcome at each stop along the way.
The High Street is also the venue for many events that take place throughout the year from treasure hunts to markets and more.
